The freshly planted crops have gotten a nice long drink, with steady rain over several days early this week. Due to the wet weather, several of our active farm cases had to take a break to let the fields dry. Fortunately, this has allowed us to get caught up on other much-needed projects and administrative work. We’re ready to get back in the field after the rain clears, and grateful for the much-needed moisture.
Service is a core element of our mission, and we’d like to recognize with reverent gratitude those who gave their lives in service of our country in the military as we enter into Memorial Day weekend. We’d also like to thank those veterans who did come home and carry on the memory of their fallen brothers and sisters in arms. May we all take this extended weekend to honor and commemorate their sacrifices and remember their stories. We’re all blessed to enjoy the freedom that you fought so hard to secure.
Respectfully,
-James LaPlante
