Head ‘em up and move ‘em out, Farm Rescue is rolling down the harvest trail.
Sunshine and some not-so-gentle breezes have kept our Angels in Blue company this week as they’ve been harvesting soybeans and corn in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska, and Iowa.
A farm family in Enderlin, North Dakota, were facing a heartbreaking harvest season after an unexpected loss. Farm Rescue volunteers were able to get started on their corn harvest this week.
A Hudson, Iowa, family were dealt multiple, devastating health issues as their corn and soybean harvest loomed on the horizon. Volunteers have been able to do some work to give them time to heal and look toward the future.
Farming doesn’t stop because of illness and a Lowden, Iowa, farm family will be able to help their family member heal while Farm Rescue assists with their corn harvest.
A Marion, North Dakota, family is dealing with a serious illness that had to be handled before harvest. Our Angels in Blue are making sure their soybeans are harvested so they can concentrate on their family member’s health.
A farmer in Mt. Pulaski, Illinois suffered a severe injury that requires a lengthy recovery time. With boots on the ground, Farm Rescue has been able to help with their family’s soybean and corn harvest.
One Trimont, Minnesota, farmer was involved in an accident that is keeping him from harvesting his corn this year. Our volunteers are “all ears” and hoping they can ease his mind a bit.
Farm Rescue wouldn’t be able to help many farmers and ranchers if it wasn’t for our dedicated volunteers.
