Trail City had .20 inches of rain on Thursday a.m. and about 3 inches of wet snow on Friday. It all adds up to much needed moisture. Everyone stayed pretty close to home with the unpredictable weather, calving and getting ready for spring planting. Farm equipment from Farm Rescue came to Trail City from Jamestown, N.D., to do the spring planting for Frank and Ruth Holzer. Frank has spent a lot of time in Rochester, Minn., the past few months fighting cancer. Miranda Hulm was a guest of Olivia Linderman at Timber Lake to help her celebrate her birthday on Saturday. Ruby Hollenbeck attended the Tour Of Tables in Mobridge on Saturday. Tom and Judy Holzer spent Thursday evening in Timber Lake visiting at the home of Steve and Cindy Holzer, Sarah, Thomas and Kolby. Guests over the weekend at the home of Claude and Esther Hahne were Troy Oschner, Joy Hahne and Blake of Aberdeen and Glen and Stacey Hahne, Joseph and Morgan of Timber Lake.
Troy and Rhonda Holzer joined Betty Holzer of Mobridge, Claude and Esther Hahne, Glen and Stacey Hahne, Joy Hahne, Troy Oschner and Rocky Gunderson of Timber Lake at Mobridge on Saturday evening to help Betty and Glen celebrate their birthdays. Tanea Schweitzer of Timber Lake was an overnight guest of Jordan Bickel at the Bill and Laurie Bickel home on Friday. On Sunday Abigail Fred of Mobridge was a guest of Jordan. Marsha Aberle joined Lorna Johnson and Justin Aberle for lunch on Sunday. Marsha and Lorna then spent the afternoon visiting at the home of Tina Aberle and Delia at Mobridge. Bill and Marchell Phillips spent Saturday evening at the home of Herb and Rae Landis playing cards and daughter, Katie spent the weekend in Lemmon.
